Joined a Halloween/Fall Swap

I just joined a Halloween/Fall tonight on the sweepstakes site "OLS" that I use to enter my sweepstakes. This swap is kind of like a secret Santa thing online. I listed things I like on OLS and a another person in the swap becomes my swap buddy and sends me a box of goodies and I get a swap buddy to send stuff they like. I've been in this swap the past two years and it gives me something fun to do during the Fall/Halloween season.

This is my third year doing this swap. The first year I did this swap kind of sucked. I got a lot of things I couldn't use. I even got a lot of old used things non fall or Halloween related but the host of the swap made up for it and sent me a gift card. She is so nice. Last years swap stuff I got made up for the crappy stuff I got the first year. I got lots of candy and decorations and other neat stuff. I plan on blogging about what I get this year and posting pictures of what I got so check back soon for an update. I love doing swaps even tho mostly ladies do them.

A hen that doesn't want to be a wet hen...

The gray chicken I've posted about before in this blog is ether the oddest or smartest chicken I've seen. It's was one of my brother chickens who lives next door to me but now my mom clams her and now that the dry spill this summer is over this hen wants to stay on our back porch and sleep with our cats. btw...Our cats our scared of it and wont get near her because she chases after them if they get near her. lol...It was funny watching my cat Casper get chased by her the other day.

My mom wants to make her a small hen house so she would be safe from wild animals and stray dogs that might kill her in the night.

I do have some bad news to blog about. Someone stole my brother's tame father goose that he's had for many years. I posted pictures of him on my blog before. We thought maybe some wild animal might of got him but we didn't see any signs that this is what happened. I'm really sad about this because our family loved that goose because he was so friendly. I'm going to really miss seeing him around the house. :-(
